My 3 tips to sound better working from home

My 3 tips to sound better working from home

I have been working from home & remote locations for many years now. Below are the 3 things I personally use to improve my audio.

#1 = Krisp Software (It’s Free)

Mute background noise
in any communication app

Krisp is the first & only noise cancellation app for Windows, Mac, iOS and Chrome. It helps users stay professional and take their conference calls from anywhere.

Speak Without Noise
With a single button, the background noise going from you to other call participants will be removed.

Listen Without Noise
With a single button, the background noise coming from the call participants to you will be removed.

Personally I’m using the Pro version now. I have used the Free version and had no problems with it

#2 – External Microphone (£29.99)

Most group calls struggle when everyone is using their internal microphones.

As you can see below, I have an external microphone. This is actually a dual microphone for when two of us are using my computer on a group call.

Mic can be used with iOS/Android smartphone, DSLR, camcorder, audio recorder, mixer, laptop, PC, etc.

#3 – Zoom (it’s Free)

I use many Apps & personally prefer Zoom.

I also use Teams, WebEx & Google Hangouts, however Zoom is best for me.

Zoom is the leader in modern enterprise video communications, with an easy, reliable cloud platform for video and audio conferencing, chat, and webinars …

The free version is fantastic, however you only get 40 mins limit on group meetings. This is why I have signed up to the Pro Version & pay monthly.
